Ipsos and the Institut Pasteur awarded the 2021 "Grand Prix Syntec Conseil" for the ComCor project

The "Grand Prix Syntec Conseil," run in partnership with the newspaper Les Echos and organized with Prache Media, is awarded every year to transformative projects in recognition of the strategic benefits of consultancy and research.

This year, Ipsos and the Institut Pasteur, in cooperation with the French National Health Insurance Fund (CNAM) and Santé publique France, won the 2021 Grand Prix Syntec Conseil, which covers all categories, for the ComCor project.

Study co-leaders Arnaud Fontanet, Head of the Epidemiology of Emerging Diseases Research and Expertise Unit, and his colleague Tiffany Charmet attended the award ceremony.

The ComCor project is a scientific case-control study at national level that has been under way since October 2020 with the aim of monitoring the impact and development of the COVID-19 pandemic in France, over time and on an ongoing basis. Ongoing data collection and rapid analysis have provided results that have aided decision-making, guided public policy and helped inform the public.
