Agenda

2019 edition of the Young Researchers in Life Sciences Conference

The 10th edition of the Young Researchers in Life Sciences Conference will take place from June 4 to 6, 2019. Each year, this international conference is organized by young researchers' associations at leading research institutes in the Greater Paris region, including StaPa, the Institut Pasteur's association for young researchers, which has taken an active role in this event since it was first launched.

The conference will be attended by more than 200 participants from over ten different countries. It is a great opportunity for young researchers (Advanced Master's and PhD students and post-doctoral fellows) to showcase their research through posters or presentations, in an interdisciplinary, international context and among their peers. This three-day event will also give the researchers the chance to widen their scientific and professional network and to find out more about potential career opportunities. This year, the conference will be held at the Institute for Genetic Diseases (Imagine) in Paris (15th arrondissement).

Several speakers have already confirmed their participation, including Ronald Vale, Professor of cellular and molecular pharmacology at the University of California, US ; Martin Fussenegger, Professor of biotechnology and bioengineering, ETH Zurich and the University of Basel, Switzerland et Pascale Cossart, Professor at the Institut Pasteur and Permanent Secretary of the French Academy of Sciences.

Registration is now open. The deadline for abstracts is March 15, 2019. The deadline to attend the conference (without submitting an abstract) is April 1.
