January 15: first start-up breakfast of 2019

Reminder: The next "Start-up breakfast" will be held on Tuesday January 15, 2019, at 8.30am, in the conference room at Duclaux on the 2^nd floor. It will be animated by Pinar Temel of Erdyn.

After a Master degree in « International Relations and European Studies » at Cergy-Pontoise University and a Master degree in « Research Institutions and knowledge transfer » from Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon, Pinar Temel worked in the French National Research Funding Agency (ANR) where she established a system for the follow-up of the projects funded by the Social Sciences department.
In 2012 she entered Erdyn, a consulting company specialized in innovation. Expert in collaborative projects set-up and management, Pinar has supported numerous research and innovation actors since 2012 in obtaining funding from national and European funding programs (H 2020, JTI, COSME, ANR, FUI, PIA…).

She has a deep knowledge of national and European R&I policies, programs and funding mechanisms. As such, she led in 2016 an in-depth analysis for the European Parliament on the implementation of the Parliament’s priorities in the Horizon 2020 program.

Currently, she has been the project manager of the European coordination and support action TAIPI (Tools and Actions for Impact Assessment and Policy makers) dealing with the impact assessment of the two largest European research projects with 1 billion euros funding each: Flagships Human Brain Project and Graphene.
She was also involved in the evaluation of research and innovation policy measures and in support to R&I actors such as the set-up of the French National Contact Points (NCP) Network within the framework of the Horizon 2020 program for the French Ministry of Research, the evaluation of clusters policy for the Commissariat Général à l’Egalité des Territoires (CGET), and the set-up of a technology transfer office in Normandie.
