Music-making with a scientific impact

Following the "Venite Cantemus" charity concert held on November 19 at the Opéra Comique in Paris, the project volunteers, together with the musicians, singers and partners, were reunited on the Institut Pasteur campus recently for the official presentation of a check for €20,000 in aid of the Institut Pasteur's research.

At the presentation ceremony in the Salle des Actes, Gabrielle Thierry, President of "La Girafe lyrique", the association which organized the concert on November 19, expressed her heartfelt thanks to all those involved in this fantastic event. Several volunteers worked behind the scenes to help organize the third edition of "Venite Cantemus". This generous support was well worth the effort, with some 1,200 people, including 525 singers (many from the Institut Pasteur), coming together to raise a record amount.
