Creation of the Neural Coding and Engineering of Human Speech Unit and the Histopathology Platform

•     Creation of the Neural Coding and Engineering of Human Speech Unit

Following the favorable opinions issued by the Scientific Council in December 2021 and the Board of Governors in December 2021, the Neural Coding and Engineering of Human Speech Functions (Codage neural et ingénierie des fonctions de parole) Unit was set up on January 1, 2022.

This unit is affiliated with the Hearing Institute and will be led by Anne-Lise Mamessier Giraud, a Professor at the Institut Pasteur.

The first five-year term of the unit will run through to December 31, 2026.

•    Creation of the Histopathology Platform

The Histopathology Platform (Plate-forme d'histopathologie) was set up on January 1, 2022 in the Center for Animal Resources and Research (C2RA).

Jean Jaubert was appointed as acting head of the platform from the same date.
