Pasteurdon

A look back at Pasteurdon patron Alexandra Lamy's visit to the Institut Pasteur campus on July 1

For the 12th year in a row, Alexandra Lamy is working alongside the Institut Pasteur and its scientists to support Pasteurdon and continue to raise awareness in the media and among the general public, donors and supporters of the need for donations to advance research.

It was in her role as Pasteurdon patron that Alexandra Lamy visited the Institut Pasteur campus on July 1 to meet members of the Cell Polarity, Migration and Cancer Unit led by Sandrine Etienne-Manneville, who also heads the Cancer Initiative along with Ludovic Deriano. The Cancer Initiative, set up in 2019, is a major part of the Institut Pasteur's strategy in response to the increasing incidence of cancer worldwide.

The visit gave Alexandra Lamy the opportunity to discuss the research being carried out in this field by Sandrine Etienne-Manneville and her team, to find out more about brain cancer and also to check out the Central Animal Facility, which houses zebrafish used in research. While the ever-committed Pasteurdon patron was on campus, some video sequences were also shot that highlight her continued support.
