Right to training: hours under the individual right to training scheme (DIF) must be entered in your personal training account (CPF) by June 30, 2021 (final deadline)

At the end of 2020, because of the health crisis, we gave you a further six months to enter any rights accumulated under the DIF scheme.

You have until June 30, 2021 to enter hours accumulated under the individual right to training scheme (DIF) in your personal training account (CPF).

After June 30, 2021, any hours not added to your CPF will be lost.

  • In practice:

For those of you who have not yet added your DIF hours: go to your CPF, which you can access

1.    Create your personal space if you did not do so back in 2015;
2.    Go to the tab "Mes droits formation" (My training rights), then click on "Modifier mon DIF" (Change my DIF);
3.    Enter any hours accumulated under the DIF scheme. Your hours will then be automatically added to the budget of your personal training account (1 DIF hour equals €15).

  • Where can you find how many hours you accumulated under the DIF scheme?

•    For employees who were at the Institut Pasteur in December 2014, these hours are on the DIF certificate that you were sent by the Training Department (via personal internal mail). If necessary, the training team is available to help you find this document (formation@pasteur.fr).

•    For employees who were not at the Institut Pasteur in December 2014, you will find your DIF hours on your payslip for December 2014 or January 2015; you may also have been notified of your DIF rights via a certificate sent out by your former employer or they may have been indicated on your employment certificate.

  • Reminder – what is the CPF?

In January 2015, the CPF replaced the DIF, which gave employees a certain number of hours they could use for training. The DIF entitled full-time employees to 20 hours of training each year, with the option of carrying them over for a period of 6 years, up to a maximum of 120 hours.

•    Since January 1, 2015, each employee has had a personal training account (CPF) for training; this account is now a right for each employee and will remain valid throughout his or her working life until retirement.

•    The hours acquired under the DIF can still be used to fund a training course via the CPF, as long as they are transferred by the extended deadline of June 30, 2021.

  • Help and guidance

Do you need help, do you have questions about the CPF, are you planning to take a training course? Please contact your training officer or the team directly by email: formation@pasteur.fr

  • Beware of scams linked with your personal training account

Be on your guard and watch out for scams linked to your training rights.

To use your training account, there is only one official website: moncompteformation.gouv.fr

The scammers will generally contact you directly by phone and pretend to be an official organization or to belong to "Mon compte formation" (My training account). They use various methods to take control of your account and sign you up for a training course without you knowing.

To avoid falling for training scams, check out the guidelines on the Webcampus page
