Disability review and action plan: thank you for taking part in the internal survey

The Institut Pasteur is committed to providing all its staff with a quality working environment and is pursuing its action to encourage diversity and inclusion by launching a disability review and action plan in collaboration with Agefiph.*

An internal survey was conducted in April among the entire Institut Pasteur community (employees, Orex and interns) to gage the level of awareness of disability-related topics on campus and to analyze needs.

Thank you to you all!
The response rate was very high, with 1,643 people – 54% of all staff – completing the questionnaire. This is much higher than the usual rate observed by Agefiph and deserves a special mention!

A brief overview of the disability strategy
The review carried out in collaboration with Agefiph is the first stage in this strategy, which is a central part of the Institut Pasteur's broader corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy.

Based on the survey results, together with a series of interviews with a panel of representative interviewees, a quantitative and qualitative analysis will be carried out to:

• review the current situation,

• draw up an action plan and embark on the next steps following this first stage,

• introduce a structured disability policy at the Institut Pasteur.

The detailed results of the internal survey and the action plan will be presented on campus in the second half, and in particular at an information and awareness meeting due to be held in connection with European Disability Employment Week.

Keep an eye on the newsletter for all the latest news!
