2018 Pasteurdon campaign launched with media partners

On June 5, to kick off the 2018 edition of Pasteurdon, an event was organized for our loyal media partners from TV channels and radio stations who have worked alongside the Institut Pasteur for many years to support Pasteurdon, especially by broadcasting the short films that have become one of the hallmarks of the campaign.

At this event, attended by a host of representatives from TV and radio, Institut Pasteur President Stewart Cole and Jean-François Chambon, Vice-President Communications and Fundraising, reiterated their thanks on behalf of the Institut Pasteur for this unique partnership, which has provided valuable support for the Institut Pasteur's research for the past ten years. In the grand setting of the Salle des Actes, they also took the opportunity to reaffirm the importance of Pasteurdon, especially the constant need with each new edition to raise awareness among the general public of the Institut Pasteur's role, to explain the vital health issues facing us now and in the future, and – it goes without saying – to encourage as many people as possible to give. Scientific Director Olivier Schwartz also spoke at the event, explaining the importance of the newly installed Titan KriosTM microscope, and Albane Imbert gave a presentation on the huge potential of the prototypes developed by the FabLab for furthering research.

This year, TV channels C8, W9, TMC, TFX, NRJ12, LCP, Public Sénat, France 4, BFM TV – BFM Business – BFM Paris, CNews, CStar, Gulli, France O, TF1 Séries Films, L'Equipe, 6ter, Numéro 23, RMC Découverte, Chérie 25, LCI, France Info TV and France 24, together with radio stations RFI, Nostalgie, Chérie FM, BFM Business Radio, Rire et Chansons, NRJ, Radio Classique, Fun Radio, RMC, Virgin Radio, RFM, RTL, RTL2 and Europe 1, will again be supporting the Institut Pasteur. Pasteurdon 2018 will also enjoy the support of TV Magazine.

The countdown is on!
