Erik Orsenna becomes the Ambassador of the Institut Pasteur and the Institut Pasteur International Network

The author Erik Orsenna, who occupies Louis Pasteur's seat at the French Academy, is demonstrating his commitment to the institution founded in 1888 by his illustrious predecessor by becoming Ambassador for the Institut Pasteur and its International Network for the next three years. Erik Orsenna had already shown his interest in the achievements of Louis Pasteur with his biography of the scientist, La vie, la mort, la vie, published recently by Éditions Fayard.

As Institut Pasteur Ambassador, Erik Orsenna has set himself the task of improving the visibility of the work of the Institut Pasteur and the Institut Pasteur International Network among the public, the media and more generally all the Institut Pasteur's partners. He will also help raise awareness among potential donors and sponsors who may be interested in supporting the major projects run by the Institut Pasteur and its International Network.
