Cinema club: "Autism – stories of life" on March 27 and 29

The Scientific Information Resources Center (CeRIS) will be running a cinema club featuring two documentaries from its DVD collection to mark this year's World Autism Awareness Day. These films explore the impact of autism in the words of children, teenagers and adults affected by the condition.

  • Tuesday March 27, 2018: Ilé fait son cinéma ou le monde imaginaire d'Ilé Ménard ["Spotlight on Ilé – The imaginary world of Ilé Ménard"], directed by Jean-François Castell, 2014 (53 mins). The film will be shown at 1pm and 5pm in the Jules Bordet room on the ground floor of the Metchnikoff building (building 67).

  • Thursday March 29, 2018: Le cerveau d'Hugo ["Hugo's brain"], directed by Sophie Révil, 2013 (1 hr 37 mins). The film will be shown at 1pm and 5pm in the Jules Bordet room on the ground floor of the Metchnikoff building (building 67).

 

DVDs from the CeRIS library collection are available on loan:
