Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
R3D3 lasted just three days before losing its battle against careless misuse.
As presented in the newsletter on Friday March 23, an R3D3 robot was introduced to The 25 to optimize the recycling of plastic drinks bottles, cans and cups.
So why try to feed it with anything else?
Stuffing R3D3 with chewing gum, sandwich wrappers, serviettes, beer cartons, plastic sleeves, receipts and polystyrene makes recycling impossible!
What we do with our waste has a real impact. Every year, misuse of recycling bins and failure to comply with recycling guidelines at the Institut Pasteur has major financial and environmental consequences and also affects the working conditions of those responsible for waste management in the Quality, Environment and Sustainable Development Department.
As we wait for R3D3 to be repaired and brought back into service, the Department's teams would like to remind you that they are available to answer any questions you may have about waste management and recycling.
