CORONAVIRUS

COVID-19: Easing of restrictions on campus from Monday May 16

Given the improvement in the health situation, the BCP/PBRP Committee is easing measures as follows on the Institut Pasteur's two Paris sites (rue du Docteur Roux and rue de Charenton) as from Monday May 16:

1.    Measures in the staff restaurant

  • In the restaurant, the restrictions on the distribution of cutlery will no longer apply, water jugs will once again be provided and the salad bar will be available on a self-service basis.

  • More tables and chairs will be placed in various outdoor areas to make it easier to eat meals outside the restaurant.

  • The hydro-alcohol gel dispensers will remain in operation in front of the entrances to the cafeterias and canteens. Their use is strongly recommended.

2.    The 80% occupancy limit in meeting rooms and lecture halls will no longer apply. The booking tool will be updated with 100% occupancy limits in the next few days.

3.    Hygiene and distancing measures maintained

  • Surgical masks will continue to be distributed until May 31. Mask distribution will now take place twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 9.30 to 11am on the ground floor of the François Jacob building (the same room as before).

  • We would remind you that masks continue to be mandatory on campus inside the Institut Pasteur Medical Center, at ICAReB and within the Occupational Health Department premises.

  • As a precautionary measure, masks continue to be strongly recommended for those diagnosed with COVID-19*, contacts or people with symptoms.

  • They are optional but recommended in closed spaces and if the number of people does not allow sufficient distancing.

  • We would also remind you that the usual hygiene rules are still important to limit the spread of the virus: regular hand washing, airing premises regularly and keeping surfaces clean.

*If your test is positive, you must remain in isolation, depending on your vaccine status (in French).
