2019 call for applications for "partnership contracts for hospital professionals" with the Center for Translational Science

The Center for Translational Science (CRT) and the Medical Affairs and Public Health Department are launching a call for applications for "partnership contracts for hospital professionals". The call is aimed at hospital physicians at varying stages of their career (consultants (PH), lecturer/consultants (MCU-PH), professor/consultants (PU-PH), consultants on contract (PHC) or hospital-university practitioners (PHU)) who are keen to work in a research unit and/or a National Reference Center or WHO Collaborating Center at the Institut Pasteur.

The contracts can vary in terms of length (from one to three years based on an annual review) and working arrangements (part-time or full-time). They provide financial compensation for clinical departments and hospitals to cover the "research" time of the physicians concerned.

This call for applications is open to the whole of France and to physicians at any healthcare establishment involved in research.

Partnership contracts represent a unique opportunity to develop a translational project at the Institut Pasteur. The CRT can help scientists to identify interested clinicians or publicize the call among learned medical societies.

Applications should be submitted by midnight on September 15; the start date for successful applicants is January 2, 2020.
