institution

In connection with the Pasteur 2030 Strategic Plan and in light of the brand challenges facing the Institut Pasteur today, the Department of Communications and Public Affairs has embarked on a major project, since last year and until beginning of 2025, to redefine, clarify and implement the fundamentals of the Institut Pasteur brand and the Pasteurian identity.

Research

One year ago, ANRS Emerging Infectious Diseases (ANRS MIE) launched its second call for proposals (CfP) as part of the Priority Research Programs and Equipment initiative on emerging infectious diseases (PEPR MIE). The CfP reflected the second measure in the national acceleration strategy for emerging infectious diseases and chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) threats, supported by France 2030.

Agenda

For this year's "Fête de la Nature," which includes the International Day for Biological Diversity, the Institut Pasteur is organizing a special week with events on several nature-related topics, from May 19 to 23.

Decisions

Funding

On the initiative of the senior management team and in connection with the new Pasteur 2030 Strategic Plan, the Department of Education and the Medical Department are pleased to announce the launch of the Institut Pasteur's new MD-PhD program.

Conference

Organized on a monthly basis by the Scientific Council, these lectures are an opportunity to find out about the latest developments in research and knowledge in a particular field. They are also a way of establishing links between specific research challenges and the broad scientific topics explored at each session. These unique lectures are aimed at the entire Institut Pasteur community.

Security

The Risk Prevention Department is proud to announce that it will soon be rolling out PasteurPrev, a new tool to strengthen health and safety for the Institut Pasteur community. In response to legal obligations and current challenges, the AS400 system is being replaced with Winlassie (GammaSoftware), which will make it easier to identify and assess occupational risks.

Museum

April 20, 2025 marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of Edouard Alexandre Pozerski (1875-1964), known as Edouard de Pomiane. As the head of a physiology laboratory and a famous culinary critic, Edouard de Pomiane combined two disciplines that may at first glance appear to have nothing in common: scientific research and food criticism.
