Extensive in-house training offering for scientists: attend the webinar on June 7

The GEPP (jobs and careers management strategy) study on developments in scientific professions pinpointed areas in which skills are required on campus, enabling the Institut Pasteur to devise a comprehensive range of scientific training to meet these needs.

Attend the webinar led by the HR training team on June 7 at 3pm to find out more about the internal training available for scientists at the Institut Pasteur.

The webinar will provide information about:

• The new schemes introduced this year, which many of you have already benefited from: e-learning provided by Nature Masterclasses and Coursera and the open science training pathway organized by the CeRIS.

Training that has been available for staff for several years now, especially in the field of bioinformatics, such as UNIX and Python training or courses run by the C2RT and C2RA facilities on topics including Cytometry, Single-cell and Histology.

• Specific courses for managers:
"Successful recruitment at the Institut Pasteur" with the HR Recruitment Department or training in PhD supervision with the Association Bernard Grégory (ABG). And of course there is also the option of taking French courses online with the Alliance Française.

A new career development tool designed by the technology core facilities is also now available: certified training courses.

Information about these training courses for scientists and practical details will be presented in the first part of the webinar. You will then be able to ask the teams any questions, in English or French.
