The Healthcare Innovation 2030 plan, presented by the French President, was launched in 2021 with the aim of shaping France into a European leader in healthcare innovation and sovereignty. Drawing to a large extent on the Investing in the Future program, the Healthcare Innovation 2030 plan aims to strengthen biomedical research and support three priority fields: biotherapies, digital health and tackling emerging infectious diseases. A budget of €7 billion has been earmarked for the plan, which will run until 2030.

To mark the 40th anniversary of the discovery of HIV, the dedicated fact sheet available at pasteur.fr has been updated. How does HIV spread? What are the causes? What are the symptoms? How is HIV infection diagnosed? What treatments are available? How can the disease be prevented? How many people are affected? All the answers to these questions can be found on the dedicated fact sheet.

The lectures organized by the Scientific Council are an opportunity to find out about the latest developments in research and knowledge in a particular field. They are also a way of establishing links between specific research challenges and the broad scientific topics explored at each session. These unique lectures are aimed at the entire Institut Pasteur community.

The Institut Pasteur is launching its first certified training courses developed by the technology core facilities for their users. Find out more about this new career development tool.  By offering expertise, services and the use of equipment, the teams in the core facilities within the Technology Department provide support for research teams as they carry out their projects.

On Tuesday June 13, from 10am to 5.30pm in the CIS hall, a day will be held for Institut Pasteur staff interested in finding out about the Institut Pasteur's work at the international level. The program will include stands, round tables, an "international" lunch break, fun activities, a concert and opportunities to chat and meet people.

Data sent to conversational artificail intelligences (AI) (ChatGPT, ...), and generally cloud services, are not controlled, so it is often impossible to know who can access them. For example, with a specific query, it is possible to retrieve data previously sent to the AI by another user.
