The Institut Pasteur organizes a monthly meeting with one or more entrepreneurs in the field of life sciences. These events are aimed at PhD students, postdocs, researchers and engineers interested in technology transfer and entrepreneurship.
These events, entitled "Creating your own company", take the form of a breakfast meeting on the first Tuesday of each month
The next session of "Creating your own company" will take place on May 15 at 8:30am on the 2nd floor of the Duclaux building.
This session will focus on innovation competitions and their opportunities for early-stage start-ups or start-up projects.
The Institut Pasteur will welcome:
Laurence Lacroix, Senior business developer, Génopole (the biggest start-up incubator in life sciences in France)
Nadine Bongaerts, Vice-President, Hello Tomorrow (an international start-up competition)
Carole Schwintner, Pharmaceutical Development Director, Maat Pharma (laureate of the “Concours mondial d’innovation”)
Each speaker will give a 15-20 minute presentation of his or her experience with start-up and innovation competitions, the challenges to overcome, and the expectations of the jury, etc., before a Q&A session.
