Book signing

A look back at a meeting with an Ambassador full of curiosity!

On Thursday May 4, Erik Orsenna came to the Institut Pasteur to talk about his unique Pasteurian voyage, an experience marked by his encounters with scientists across the globe – experts from the Paris campus and from the Institut Pasteur International Network – which inspired him to write his latest book, Géopolitique du moustique, petit précis de mondialisation IV (The Geopolitics of the Mosquito: a Brief Summary of Globalization IV).

Alongside Institut Pasteur President Christian Bréchot, Anna-Bella Failloux – Orsenna's personal tutor in medical entomology and Head of the Arboviruses and Insect Vectors Unit – and Jean-François Chambon, Vice-President Communications and Fundraising, the writer conveyed his curiosity, enthusiasm, humor and generosity to the many Institut Pasteur staff who came to hear him.

Check out the photos of this fascinating and enjoyable event, led by the Institut Pasteur's committed Ambassador.
