Endotoxic shock: the protective role of neutrophil immune cells

Scientists from the Institut Pasteur and Inserm, working in cooperation with Stanford University, have recently demonstrated the protective role of immune cells known as polynuclear neutrophils in endotoxic shock – septic shock caused by bacterial toxins.
