A look back at the Ecolunch – "1 hour to find out all you need to know about climate change and your individual carbon footprint" on October 26

In connection with the detailed carbon footprint analysis for the Institut Pasteur carried out by the Sustainable Development Department, the specialized firm Projet Celsius, which is guiding the department through the process, organized an Ecolunch on October 26 during the lunch hour.

During this fascinating interactive conference, which was attended by several Institut Pasteur staff, the experts from Projet Celsius, co-founder Guillaume Pakula and carbon engineer Alexandre Veilly, presented the scale and impacts of climate change and how it can be limited. The workshop was an opportunity to combine scientific knowledge (the anthropogenic influence on climate change, greenhouse gases, the consequences of climate change, individual carbon footprints in France, etc.) with fun quizzes and inspiring examples. The staff who attended were given a clearer idea of the issues surrounding climate change and were able to identify avenues for action at individual level and within their respective professions.
