Launch of a Pasteur Microbes & Health and France Futur Élevage "inter-Carnot" call for proposals

The Pasteur Microbes & Health Carnot Institute is launching a joint call for proposals with France Futur Élevage led by INRAE. This call for proposals is an opportunity for teams from the Pasteur Microbes & Health and France Futur Élevage Carnot Institutes to co-design collaborative projects. The aim is to strengthen synergies between Carnot institutes so that they can provide joint services to socio-economic stakeholders.

This call for proposals is aimed at units from the Pasteur Microbes & Health and France Futur Elevage Carnot institutes. It involves a One Health approach: antimicrobial and antiparasitic resistance, emerging and re-emerging diseases, vector-borne diseases and vectors.

At the launch seminar, some of the scientists attending submitted ideas for which they are looking for a partner.

These ideas are listed below: 

•    Laure Diancourt (Institut Pasteur): Isolating Clostridium botulinum strains involved in animal botulism through bacterial sorting of complex samples using cytometry (FACS)
