With its illustrious past, outstanding research and wide-ranging missions, the Institut Pasteur occupies a unique position on the global research landscape. The Institut Pasteur successfully combines fundamental research, its core activity, with the practical application of this research in the field of medicine and public health and the development of teaching activities and industrial partnerships.
The theme for this year's Scientific Symposium of the Institut Pasteur International Network, which took place from October 14 to 16, 2015 on the Paris campus, was "Global Health and One Health". The 710 participants focused their attention on the issues surrounding the development of a global approach to health research.
The 2016 program of lectures run by the Scientific Council is now available

The Education Department is currently reorganizing its administrative management tools for its tutoring system for PhD students. The new IT interface for the tutoring system will be up and running at the end of this year.
The media library will be visiting a different building on campus every Friday from 12 noon to 2pm to explain about its services, answer any questions and get to know you better!
To mark the publication of the new book by François Rodhain, "Le parasite, le moustique, l'homme… et les autres" ("Parasites, mosquitoes, humans... and others"), you are all welcome to come and meet the author at a signing session on Friday, November 20 from 4 to 7pm in the "Salle des Actes" of the Pasteur Museum.
A new campus access system has been introduced for the entrances at 25 and 28 rue du Docteur Roux.
