The Scientific Information Resources Center (CeRIS) is running new training sessions to save you time with your bibliographies. Find out about EndNote on Thursday November 19, 2020, from 2 to 5pm (in French).
Come along and discover (or improve your knowledge of) EndNote X9 and find out how to save time when compiling a bibliography.
The session is a mixture of theory and practical hands-on training during which you will learn how to import references from databases, create and manage reference files, insert citations into a text and format a bibliography with the latest version of EndNote. Don't stress – just sign up!
Aims of the training:
• Learn how to manage your bibliography with the EndNote tool
• Master the main features of the software
This training session is aimed at anyone who needs to manage and format bibliographical references and is keen to find out about EndNote or remind themselves of how it works.
It will take place remotely (via Microsoft Teams) in French.

NB: an advanced session is due to be held on Wednesday November 25 for those already familiar with the tool.

Find out about the more advanced features of EndNote X9 and learn some handy tips and tricks.
Combining theory and practice, this training session will teach you how to boost your library with references that are not available in traditional databases, manage your library more efficiently and import references into a document (e.g. changing a style).

This training is aimed at anyone who already uses EndNote and wants to further develop their command of the software.

The aim of bibliography management software is to simplify the task of managing bibliographical references for scientists writing articles. With a host of software available – including EndNote, Mendeley, Sciwheel and Zotero –, how can you tell which will be best suited to your needs?
The Scientific Information Resources Center (CeRIS) is running a remote workshop on Friday November 20, from 12 noon to 2pm. The workshop will help you find your way around bibliography management software by presenting the specific features of each of these tools.
The workshop is aimed at all those looking for guidance in choosing bibliography management software or switching to a new tool.
It is open to French- and English-speakers and will take place remotely via Microsoft Teams.
You do not need to sign up in advance: simply join us on Teams when it suits you between 12 noon and 2pm.
