Alzheimer's disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder that mainly affects memory, but also other cognitive functions linked to knowledge and involving language, logical thought and learning capacity. This disease generally leads to loss of independence for sufferers. It is one of the leading causes of disability and dependency in elderly people.

From November 23 to 27, 2020 the Scientific Information Resources Center (CeRIS) will once again be celebrating International Open Access Week with a series of events and activities on the theme of open access, and more broadly open science.
The Department of Education, together with the Institut Pasteur's association for young researchers (StaPa), is proud to present this year's eighth edition of the PhD graduation ceremony. The event, for students who completed their PhD during the 2019-2020 academic year, will take place on Friday December 4, 2020, at 3pm, in english. Because of the current health context, this year's ceremony will be held exclusively online via Teams as a live event.
On October 15, the Institut Pasteur officially joined the "Paris Climate Action" initiative by signing the charter at gold level. The charter is based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a way of encouraging companies to come on board and ensuring global recognition of the commitments made.
