Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
The emergence of the health crisis and the need to work remotely has led to new working methods and the use of new tools for information and communication at the Institut Pasteur to ensure that activities can continue. So far, Microsoft Teams, used with the support of the Information Systems Department, has helped staff to keep in touch with each other and with external contacts, securely, from campus or at home, while complying with health and safety measures. Since this tool has proved so successful, and given the many possibilities it offers staff, the Information Systems Department is keen to continue supporting staff using Teams.
Since it was made available to the entire campus in early April by the Information Systems Department, Teams has been used for countless meetings and conferences, helping keep the Institut Pasteur's activities going. The Information Systems Department wants to offer extra guidance to all Microsoft Teams users, at all levels, to help them use the tool more confidently and get the most out of it.
A first webinar was held on November 12 on the topic "Meetings with Teams: planning, joining and leading meetings/webinars." A further 30-minute webinar will take place on November 19 at 1.30pm, on the topic "Teamwork with Teams: creating teams and interacting with Institut Pasteur staff and guests."
In the current health context, much like the situation back in spring, the teams in the Logistics Department are having to grapple with difficulties in maintaining the services they offer in general, especially with regard to:
• Mail deliveries to all buildings, which will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays;
• Sending "registered" mail , which will have to be brought in person by each department to the mail room;
• "Urgent" deliveries will be given priority if they are clearly indicated as urgent.
An email should be sent in advance to request priority handling: receptionmateriel@pasteur.fr;
• "Critical" and/or temperature-controlled products will be given priority;
• The priority order for shipments will depend on how they are labeled:
- COVID-19
- MOTs
- Others (see IMPEX@pasteur.fr to check feasibility)
Feel free to contact manager-logistique@pasteur.fr for any specific requests.
The Logistics Department would like to thank you for your cooperation and is available to provide any further details if required.
The arrangements for Institut Pasteur staff to receive a flu vaccination at the Medical Center have changed:
- Staff working from home on a full-time basis who have already registered or made an appointment should contact the Medical Center to postpone their appointment to a later date.
- Any new requests for appointments should be made by emailing vaccination.grippe@pasteur.fr and will be confirmed by return email.
- No vaccinations will be performed without an appointment.
- These arrangements may change depending on available vaccine stock.
