Upcoming "Pasteur Medicine Quarter-Hour" session on typhoid fever and antibiotic resistance on November 21

Every month, the Center for Translational Science runs a "Pasteur Medicine Quarter-Hour" session, where two doctors are invited to give a brief presentation to Institut Pasteur scientists on the diseases they are involved in treating. The doctors start by outlining one or more clinical cases, then provide a short description of the disease and conclude by looking at a series of unanswered questions that need to be addressed.

The next session, which will focus on typhoid fever and antibiotic resistance, will take place on Thursday November 21 at 5.30pm in the François Jacob auditorium. It will be led by Marc Lecuit, Head of the Biology of Infection Unit and the Listeria CNR, and Francois-Xavier Weill, Head of the Enteric Bacterial Pathogens Research and Expertise Unit and the Escherichia coli, Shigella and Salmonella CNR.
