A look back at International Open Access Week at the Institut Pasteur

From October 21 to 25, the Scientific Information Resources Center (CeRIS) celebrated International Open Access Week by organizing a series of events and activities at the Institut Pasteur on the theme of open access.

For anyone who was unable to attend, here are some links to the presentations, visual aids and film that were shown, as well as photos of all the events.

International Open Access Week 2019

The Open Café exhibition will be back on display in the CeRIS library (second floor of the CIS, Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm) from November 25.

And if you are interested in having another go at the board game and escape room, feel free to contact hal-pasteur@pasteur.fr.

The entire CeRIS team would like to thank all those who supported and took part in this year's event.

The week gave rise to fruitful discussions about open access, highlighting the importance of exchanging ideas about an issue that raises real challenges for the scientific community. The topic will continue to be given visibility next year through various initiatives, including training in how to deposit articles in the open archive HAL-Pasteur and a 2020 edition of Open Access week. See you next year at these and other open access activities!
