Screening of the docudrama "Pasteur, the visionary"

This November marks the culmination of celebrations for the Institut Pasteur's 130th anniversary. The Scientific Information Resources Center (CeRIS) is paying tribute to its founder by holding a screening of the film Pasteur, l'homme qui a vu ("Pasteur, the visionary"), directed by Alain Brunard in 2010, for all staff.

The film will be shown on Thursday November 22, 2018 at 1.30pm in the Jules Bordet room (on the ground floor of the Metchnikoff building (building 67)). It lasts 83 minutes.

This fascinating docudrama looks back at how Louis Pasteur discovered the rabies vaccine. It takes us into Pasteur's inner world – his laboratory, family and colleagues –, and gives us a glimpse of his deep-held beliefs, doubts and struggles. It's well worth a(nother) watch!
