Two-way traffic for cyclists: take care when crossing rue du Docteur Roux

We would like to inform you that Paris City Council has recently changed the traffic regulations in rue du Docteur Roux – this one-way street has now become a two-way street for cyclists. This is indicated with road markings and special road signs.

This initiative, part of the cycle plan adopted by the City of Paris, is a legal requirement. A decree enshrined in the new French Highway Code in July 2008 gave local councils until July 2010 to set up two-way cycle lanes in all areas where the speed limit is 30km/h.

Please take extra care when crossing between 25 and 28 Rue du Docteur Roux. Although, it is now necessary to look both ways before crossing the street.
