Save the date: European Week for Waste Reduction – Thursday November 23, 2023

During the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR), the Sustainable Development Department will be holding a forum on waste reduction at the Institut Pasteur on Thursday November 23 from 11.30am to 2pm in front of the restaurant – building 6.

A number of stands will be set up for the event, in collaboration with the Preparation Department, the Waste, Sterilization and Premises Maintenance Department and the GreenTeam Employee Resources Group (ERG) for Plastic, Food and Awareness, providing information about various topics, including:

- The media platform, supporting your research;
- Packaging – moderation before recycling;
- Waste management at the Institut Pasteur;
- Plastic is not automatic;
- Reducing the impacts of our smartphones.

These stands will be an opportunity to find out about waste reduction initiatives at the Institut Pasteur and to familiarize yourselves with some best practices that you can apply to your work and in your respective departments to reduce the quantity of waste generated. You will also find some tips that can help you act on a daily basis at home and in the workplace.
