The Institut Pasteur announces the launch of the Pasteur Foundation – UK, a private non-profit foundation aiming to raise awareness and funds for scientific cooperations between the Institut Pasteur in Paris and scientific institutions in the UK.

40 YEARS OF HIV

The Institut Pasteur will be hosting the conference "40 years of HIV science" on campus from November 29 to December 1, 2023. This event, part of the ongoing celebrations for the 40th anniversary of the discovery of HIV, will examine multiple aspects of HIV research, including the basic, translational, clinical and social dimensions of the very latest data and future prospects in terms of research on virus-host interactions, promising new therapies, curing HIV and the search for a vaccine.

Once again this year, the Institut Pasteur Department of Education will be holding a PhD graduation ceremony, as it has done every year for the past decade. This ceremony for students who completed their PhD during the 2022-2023 academic year will take place on Friday December 8, 2023, at 3pm, in the auditorium of the Scientific Information Center (CIS).

11 projects have been selected for funding as part of the PEPR MIE call (France 2030) for a total budget of 22M€. Out of these 11 projects, Institut Pasteur coordinates and/or participate to 8 projects with an overall a funding of 3.36M€.
