Agenda

INCEPTION symposium on November 25 and 26, 2021

The INCEPTION project was set up in response to the arrival of big data in biology. The aim is to create synergies between different areas of expertise (biology, medicine, IT, mathematics, statistics, physics and social sciences), paving the way for the development of innovative solutions that address the global challenge of disease emergence, for both populations and individuals.

This year, the annual meeting will be organized jointly with the symposium on "Social sciences and biology to understand emerging diseases." This international symposium is part of a wider Institut Pasteur effort to incorporate social sciences by fostering a dialog between specific social science disciplines and biomedical scientists with various approaches. The symposium will instigate a dialog on the response to the COVID-19 crisis and other health issues.

The event will be held on November 25 and 26, 2021, both in person at the Institut Pasteur and via video conference. In-person attendance may be canceled depending on the latest health situation. A poster session will be organized during breaks in the symposium. Anyone interested in presenting a poster is free to do so.

The event is free but prior registration is required.
