3/ Guidance
Scheduling appraisals
The Human Resources Department would like to draw your attention to the fact that this year's campaign starts on November 24 and would encourage you to begin scheduling sessions well in advance.
- Make sure you allow enough time for an in-depth discussion: an hour and a half is a good guideline.
- If possible, it is recommended that these interviews be conducted in person. However, depending on the situation, they may also be conducted remotely via Teams.
Préparer au mieux ses EAP
To support you and help you prepare for the campaign as best as possible, the Human Resources Department provides several resources:
- Online information and discussion meetings in the week prior to the campaign launch:
- For heads/managers, on Tuesday November 25 from 11am to 12 noon (link sent by email to those concerned).
- For staff, on Tuesday November 25, from 2 to 3pm.
- A training session was also organised as part of the "Training of the month" initiative on November 13. This year, particular emphasis has been placed on the importance of feedback, and so the focus of the session is “active listening at the heart of our exchanges”. This interactive, theatrical videoconference session, lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes, helped participants understand the importance of listening in professional relationships, master rephrasing and questioning techniques, and strengthen the link between listening and engagement, both on a daily basis and during appraisals and career development reviews.
The replay is available at the following link.
Please note: the "Skills and Training” webinar on Tuesday, November 27 at 11 a.m. will give you a better understanding of the challenges of the appraisal and how to formulate your training needs during the campaign.
