Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
Read on for a message from the senior management team to mark the publication of the Institut Pasteur's Code of Conduct:
"Dear all,
Back in September, the Institut Pasteur reaffirmed its commitment to guaranteeing a healthy, respectful and exemplary working environment for all (see the newsletter on September 20, 2024).
The basic principles of our strategy are a zero tolerance approach to any form of violence, and a call for vigilance and individual responsibility in applying the rules. We want to create a place where each and every individual feels respected, safe and valued. These principles are now set out in our Code of Conduct, available to all staff.
The Code of Conduct reiterates and expands on several of the key provisions in the Internal Regulations with a view to promoting a respectful, caring and inclusive working environment. The aim is to enable each and every one of us to flourish in complete confidence and to reach our full potential as we serve science and human health.
At the same time, the Institut Pasteur is pursuing its commitment to strengthening safety and well-being for all staff. A review of the process for handling sensitive situations is currently under way with the aim of establishing a one-stop service to facilitate the procedures for reporting an incident or asking for assistance.
Pending implementation of the new service, we would encourage you to follow the current procedure for sensitive situations, available here, to report any inappropriate behavior.
At the Institut Pasteur, cooperation, respect and integrity are not just values but guiding principles that are an integral part of our mission.
The Institut Pasteur management team is counting on each and every one of you to abide by the Code of Conduct on a daily basis and to help create a working environment where kindness, respect and inclusion are central to our culture, with no tolerance for violence, aggression or harassment."
