Pasteurdon

Great visibility for Pasteurdon 2023 in the media

For this 17th edition, Pasteurdon once again enjoyed the generous support of its many media partners. By appealing for donations through their programs, they helped boost the visibility of Pasteurdon with the public.

During the five-day campaign, the partner channels used their programs to spread the word about Pasteurdon and invited representatives of the Institut Pasteur's research to speak about their work in person. They also demonstrated their support by displaying banners on their respective websites. On TV, over the airwaves, online, in the press and on social media, the Institut Pasteur's partners made every effort to tell people about Pasteurdon and to raise awareness of the need for donations by broadcasting and publishing interviews about the Institut Pasteur and its research.

Interview with Marina Carrère d'Encausse as the Pasteurdon representative for France Télévisions

As announced in the previous newsletter, for this latest edition of Pasteurdon, the Institut Pasteur joined forces with Brut media to produce two new videos for the general public with the aim of boosting the impact and visibility of the campaign. After the release of the first video, "How can a disease pass from animals to humans?" with Sarah Merkling, the second video was published on Brut's social media pages on October 8.

"How does the brain adapt in people with hearing loss?" with Luc Arnal

Perceiving sound is vital for us to react appropriately in different situations, for example when faced with danger.

According to WHO, 1.5 billion people worldwide are affected by hearing loss. Brut went to the Hearing Institute to find out whether hearing loss is also a risk factor for health.
