Your procurement portal is changing!

Since March 31, 2015, the new procurement portal has been available on campus, offering real-time tracking for all your purchases, from the creation of your shopping cart to delivery at the unit, together with dynamic access to a dedicated space via the online catalogs of the Institut Pasteur's partner suppliers.

 

Throughout this period, the Equinoxe team has been available to support you as you get to grips with the new procurement portal, and has also been open to any suggestions for improvement.

At the beginning of the summer, around 20 practical changes were implemented in response to your feedback (emails sent via the procurement portal changed and improved, easier searches for animal facility contact details, improved print form, simplified access to track the validation of your orders, etc.).

 

This ongoing commitment to meet the needs of Institut Pasteur scientists and continue to develop the procurement portal has led to the introduction of a further series of new features which will be available as from Monday, September 21:

 

• Simplified, more efficient monitoring of purchases:

- A more user-friendly "Team shopping carts" tab (more intuitive browsing, additional information displayed, etc.) that is more suited to your day-to-day searches (filter by supplier, by order number, etc.).

- The creation of a dedicated tab for budget holders that displays any shopping carts charged to their budget, regardless of whether they are created by members of their own or other teams.

 

• Changes to the way you compile your shopping cart:

- A simplified, quicker process for selecting the budget to be charged: some steps have been removed to make it easier to see which budgets you have charged. As soon as you click on "Advanced search", all your projects (your main project and other projects) will be listed in the same place.

- If you belong to several teams, you are now asked to choose the team that corresponds to your shopping cart. To speed up the processing of your purchases, this stage also allows you to link your cart with the management of the selected team (rather than the management of your main project).
