Flash survey on the lockdown and post-lockdown periods: check out the results

As part of the Institut Pasteur's ongoing efforts to improve the quality of working life, a flash survey was carried out from July 3 to 15 to gage the views of Institut Pasteur staff on the unprecedented circumstances during the first semester.

The survey clearly struck a chord, with 1,538 staff members (59%) completing it and sharing their thoughts on the following topics:

  • general feelings about the lockdown/post-lockdown periods;

  • feedback on the action taken (communication and tools);

  • feedback on working from home for those concerned.

With the high response rate of 59% guaranteeing a good level of representativeness, the results of the survey will help draw conclusions on this period and contribute to ongoing reflections on working from home at the Institut Pasteur.

The results were presented to the campus at the general staff meeting on Thursday September 17. One figure that stands out is that 88% of those who completed the survey said that they were satisfied or very satisfied with the way in which these periods were managed, the measures adopted to protect Institut Pasteur staff and the steps taken to resume activities.
