Organizational structure for the Department of Technology and CRBIP

As of July 1, 2020,

  • The Center for Scientific Incentive Programs (SPIS) becomes the Department for Scientific Programming and Incentive Actions (SPAIS) and is affiliated with the Department of Scientific Affairs

  • The Department of Technology and Scientific Programs (DTPS) becomes the Department of Technology (DT) and remains affiliated with the Department of Scientific Affairs

  • The Institut Pasteur Biological Resource Center (CRBIP) is affiliated with the Department of Technology

The head of the CRBIP reports to the Vice-President for the DT as line manager and for scientific matters.
The CRBIP is composed of:
- The Institut Pasteur Collection (CIP)  
- The National Collection of Microorganism Cultures (CNCM)
- The Cyanobacteria Collection (PCC)
- The Clinical Investigation and Access to BioResources Platform (ICAReB)

The CIP, CNCM and PCC are mainly affiliated with the CRBIP and continue to be affiliated with the Department of Microbiology for scientific matters. Their managers report to the Head of the CRBIP for line management and scientific matters.


The ICAReB platform is still mainly affiliated with the Center for Translational Science (CRT) and secondarily with the CRBIP. Its manager reports to the Director of the CRT for line management and scientific matters.
