Company Savings Plan: increase in the employer contribution

From January 1, 2020, the annual employer contribution paid by the Institut Pasteur in connection with the Company Savings Plan (plan d'épargne d'entreprise (PEE)) has been revised upwards. The Institut Pasteur may now pay up to €600 per year, per employee.

  • What is the Company Savings Plan?

Since 1998, the Institut Pasteur has offered an employee savings scheme to all employees who have completed at least 3 months' service. This optional scheme enables all Institut Pasteur employees to save in a tax- and social security-efficient way, with the Institut Pasteur's help.

  • In practice

The Institut Pasteur tops up any voluntary payments made by the employee under the Company Savings Plan with a financial contribution. This contribution, which is capped at €600 from January 1, 2020, is calculated as a percentage of the amount paid by the employee. From January 1, 2020, the amount contributed by the Institut Pasteur is as follows:

- 60% of the first €400 paid in the year,
- 30% of any additional amount paid.
