Media support for the 19th edition of Pasteurdon
In 2025, for the 19th year in a row, the Institut Pasteur will be organizing Pasteurdon, a campaign to raise funds and awareness among the general public in response to global health challenges. A series of new visuals have been produced to highlight the theme of this year's edition, "The power of science to change individual lives," and the event will seek to showcase scientific progress in tackling rising cancer rates for people of all ages, the emergence of new resistant microbes, and the need for preparedness for future disease outbreaks.
A multichannel campaign, supported by presenters and journalists from TV and radio media partners, will be held from October 8 to 12 to boost the visibility of the appeal for donations.

This 19th edition of Pasteurdon will involve large-scale media support, with more than 28 TV channels, 19 radio stations, Le Figaro TV Magazine and nearly 40 presenters and journalists joining forces over five days to raise awareness and encourage people to donate as a way of driving scientific progress.
Two new channels will be joining the campaign this year:
- T18, the new general-interest channel with a wide range of programs combining information, culture and entertainment via an informative, accessible approach. "T18, the TV channel that revels in curiosity!"
- NOVO19, the new general-interest national channel run by the Ouest-France group, based in Rennes, will feature programs that look at real-life issues facing people all over France, and will be available free of charge on channel 19.
