Stop disposing of chemicals in sinks!
Chemical products including formalin (formaldehyde), solvents and reagents have recently been detected in laboratory sinks. We would remind you that no chemicals should be disposed of in sinks or toilets.
✅ What you should do: Systematically collect your effluents in the dedicated waste containers provided by the GVED Department.
⚠️ Why it is so important: Failure to comply with this rule jeopardizes the Institut Pasteur's authorization from Paris City Hall to dispose of its wastewater. Without this authorization, the Institut Pasteur would simply not be able to carry out its scientific activities.
We need to protect our working environment – please make sure you do not dispose of any unauthorized waste in sinks or toilets!
