New version of pasteur.fr coming soon!

The first results of the revamp of the pasteur.fr website will soon be launched.

The aim of this major project, announced by Christian Bréchot, is to give the Institut Pasteur a website that clearly reflects the scale of its ambitions. The process will involve three main stages:

1. The top-level pages of the current pasteur.fr site will initially be given a makeover to improve readability and browsing and optimize consultation on tablets and smartphones.

2. The Research section will be completely overhauled.

3. All the sections of the pasteur.fr website will be completely overhauled.

The newly designed top-level pages and the fully revamped Research section will shortly be launched. This is a major first step in the website overhaul project, which is due to be completed for the entire website by 2016.

A great deal of effort went into redesigning the Research section so that it would better meet the needs of scientists by offering direct access to an edit mode so that they can edit their own content; increasing the visibility of unit pages to improve information management; and making use of relevant digital tools.

All the research entities will now be able to update their content straight away, publish job offers, and describe all their projects using the scientific framework.

For those that have not yet done so, now is the time to fill in your pages, create your projects and import your publications.

When this new section comes online, the current content in the Research section at pasteur.fr will be archived from the website to make room for this new Research space, which will be more appealing and user-friendly for the entire scientific community.
