"Supporting top researchers from anywhere in the world" is the slogan adopted by the ERC (European Research Council). In ten years, ERC grants have become an unquestionable label of scientific excellence. Several grant recipients have come from the Institut Pasteur – a total of 47 ERC grants have been awarded to talented Institut Pasteur scientists since 2007.
The Major Federating Program (GPF) on Vaccinology is one of three large-scale transversal research projects launched by the Institut Pasteur.
Each month, the Institut Pasteur Scientific Council organizes a lecture by a scientist on campus.
The 16th Institut Pasteur Laboratory Show will take place from 10am to 5pm on June 22 in the CIS hall and auditorium. For the 2017 edition of the annual event, organized and coordinated by the Procurement Department team, 49 suppliers have been selected to showcase their latest products (equipment, reagents and consumables) and answer any questions about practical or technical issues.
Co-hosted by the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity and the Institut Pasteur, the meeting will address the issues of pandemic, epidemic and emerging viruses in the Asia Pacific region. For the first time open to all scientists and public health experts, the meeting is a great opportunity to engage in fruitful dialogue with some of the world’s leading virologists.

The Institut Pasteur alumni team would like to invite all members of the Institut Pasteur alumni community to the very first Pasteur Alumni Café on June 15, from 6.30pm. Over a drink, in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, you can chat to other alumni, share your experiences and ask questions about the evening's topic – each Pasteur Alumni Café will be based around a specific theme with special guests.
The 2017 annual appraisals and career development reviews will begin during the week of June 20.
A new chemical risk management tool named PasteurChem is now available to all pasteurians. This tool, managed by the Risk Prevention Department, will enable everyone to learn about the dangers of chemicals in order to handle them safely.
