Main measures in the annual negotiations for 2024

The annual negotiations for the year 2024, which ran from October 20 to December 4, 2023, recently concluded without agreement being reached.

The statement of disagreement is available on the dedicated intranet page for the negotiations. The document sets out the measures that the management team will apply unilaterally, including the following:

•    a collective bonus of €500 to be received with the December salary, for all employees who were at the Institut Pasteur on October 31, 2023. For salaries up to three times the minimum wage (€62,034.66 gross for the reference period, equivalent to index 1033), this bonus is net of social security contributions and tax as part of the "value-sharing bonus" (prime partage de la valeur – PPV) scheme

•    an index rise for employees on permanent or fixed-term contracts (except for PhD students and postdoctoral fellows, whose salary scales will be increased), from +30 to +12 points, in other words between €150 and €60 gross per month depending on salary level, applicable as from the January salary

•    a salary increase of +2% for PhD students and +4% for postdoctoral fellows (from January 1, 2024)

•    a total budget allocated to individual pay rises of 2.3% (including 0.2% for promotions), to take effect in April 2024

•    coverage of 75% of the cost of public transport passes (up from 50%)

•    an increase in the sustainable mobility lump sum to €252 per year (up from €180)

•    an increase in the subsidy for the company restaurant to 45% (up from 40%)

•    in connection with the disability policy introduced at the Institut Pasteur, it has also been agreed:

- to cover 100% of the cost of public transport passes for Institut Pasteur employees who are beneficiaries of the obligation to employ disabled workers (BOETH),

- to grant a day or two half-days of paid authorized absence each calendar year to support them with any administrative procedures.
