An introduction to the relationship between science and society

This course will run over four weeks, with one day of training each week (March 16, 24 and 30 and April 6). The aim is to investigate recent developments in the relationship between science and society and to provide answers and points for discussion on the questions raised by these developments.

The afternoon session on March 16 and the morning sessions on the other days will focus on theory (philosophy of science and ethics, sociology of science, risks and debates, science and innovation).

At the afternoon sessions on March 24 and 30 and April 6, discussions will be held on the theme of vaccination.

This course is open to anyone interested in these issues. No prior knowledge is required.
