Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
A new HR calendar was adopted in June to better meet campus requirements and optimize the successive HR campaigns held throughout the year.
As announced in June, the appraisals and career development reviews will now take place in the period from December to February, and requests for promotion (the Promotion Committee process, for non-scientific staff) should now be communicated by managers over the same period.
Main points to remember:
* the upcoming appraisals and career development reviews will take place from December 3, 2018 to February 15, 2019.
* the forms have been adapted to better meet staff needs and are now shorter, clearer and simpler.
* all Institut Pasteur employees now have to take part in the appraisal process, except for those on fixed-term contracts of less than 6 months, PhD students and contract workers, as well as post-doctoral fellows for 2018.
The appraisal system involves:
- reviewing the past year (November 2017 to November 2018) and setting targets for the coming year;
- identifying individual training needs;
- a compulsory career development review, designed to review staff career development and short- and medium-term career plans;
- promotion requests for non-scientific staff at the Institut Pasteur;
- an optional review of activities/responsibilities.
You will receive more details from the human resources teams about the appraisal campaign over the next few weeks.
