Reminder - Competition to choose the best name for the new communal space on campus

The Institut Pasteur has embarked on an ambitious infrastructure modernization program to underpin its strategic priorities. The aim of the master plan, which covers the period up to 2026, is to facilitate the flow of energy and talent, pool and share resources and skills, and provide cutting-edge equipment and technology. The Institut Pasteur is keen to draw on the benefits of our close-knit campus, which fosters dialog and encourages an approach that is conducive to high value-added research.

c3s1.jpg The Institut Pasteur's master plan for the optimization of its infrastructures will be divided into three separate "campus plans".

The first stage, planned for completion by 2017, notably concerns the construction of a new 400 m2 communal space on the site of the former cafeteria in the Monod building.

Vending machines will be available selling snacks and drinks and there will be informal seating areas for group interaction, a meeting room and relaxation areas. This space is set to open on February 2, 2016.

To give the new space a name that evokes a sense of community and sharing, all staff are asked to place their suggestions in the specially provided box (between January 8 and 3pm on January 20) located in the corridor between the cafeteria and staff restaurant. You may also send your suggestion in writing to webcampus@pasteur.fr. The new name will be revealed at the opening ceremony, planned on February 2, 2016.

So let your inspiration and imagination run free and unleash your creative talent! For the box, all you have to do is write your suggested name and your first and last names on a sheet of paper and pop it in the box.
