Sign up for the "Introduction to molecular phylogenetics" course

A classical training in molecular phylogeny is proposed at the Institut Pasteur from 18-22 February 2019, with theoretical courses on the three methods of phylogenetic tree construction: distance, parsimony and maximum likelihood. The practical work will focus on the phylogenetic analysis of (genes) markers for the identification, characterization and epidemiological monitoring of pathogenic microorganisms.

This introductory course in phylogeny aims to provide the theoretical knowledge and good practice of data analysis by phylogeny software.

Supported by the INCEPTION program, it is open to doctoral training and professionals from the Institut Pasteur in Paris and to program partners (list of partners).

To register, please contact catherine.dauga@pasteur.fr

The number of places is very limited. Note that the course is in French.
