Partnership between the French Development Agency, the Institut Pasteur and the Mérieux Foundation to rebuild the National Health Laboratory in Myanmar (Burma)

The project, signed on December 21th, 2018 between the three institutions, will enable Myanmar (Burma) to acquire a high-security national reference laboratory in Rangoon and to strengthen its diagnosis capabilities to enable the population, particularly the most vulnerable, to be better protected from epidemics and emerging diseases. The integration of Myanmar into its regional and international environment will also be favored thanks to the collaborations set up with neighboring countries, but also with the Institut Pasteur International Network and the Gabriel Network led by Fondation Mérieux.
